Common problems and solutions for PET preforms injection molding machine, Part 6.

 

13, Bent preforms after getting out of the injection mold.

A, Causes:

   1, Injection hole is not straight, not in the center.

   2, Cooling is not even.

B, Solutions:

   1, Fix the molds.

   2, Reduce the holding pressure

   3, Increase the injection speed

   4, Increase the cooling time

   5, Clean the cooling water tunnel

   6, Increase the pressure and quantity of the cooling water

 

14, Bent preforms after temperature increasing.

A, Causes:

   1, Preforms core is not straight, not in the middle

   2, Temperature-adjusting hole is not in the core center

   3, Preforms’ density is not even

B, Solutions:

   1, Fix the injection molds

   2, Fix the temperature adjusting parts

   3, Reduce the injection temperature, especially for the bent part of the preforms.

 

15, White preforms after temperature adjusting

A, Causes:

   1, The temperature for the white part is too high

B, Solutions:

   1, Fix the temperature. Around 80-110 degrees for PET preforms.
