Cylinder preforms holding and releasing

Before getting into the mold, the preforms will be hold by a smaller cylinder, and the preforms will be staying there waiting for enough preforms coming, and waiting for the bottles exiting from the mold. Then the preforms can move on into the mold.

The star wheels should be checked and cleaned regularly.  

at the same time, the working performance of the star wheels, the cylinders should all be checked. Such as, if the cylinder is leaking air, if the air pressure is enough, if the solenoid is sensitive enough, if the location is correct, if there are damaged parts.

The items mentioned above should be checked to make sure the machine can work well.

Preforms loading

Loading wheels, which is used for press the axis and press it into the preforms neck, and the preforms will be loaded on the clips or holder tightly.

The wheels should be lubricated every month by the lubricant oil or butter.

Lubricate the axis upper stick part.

Check if the preform falls every day.  

Check if the supporting rack rings are shaking or DE-formed.

Use alcohol to clean the axis stick every month, to make sure there is no solids or sticky items on it.

Check if the rings or axis are DE-formed. If it is, it should be fixed or replaced.
